INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup chestnuts 2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped carrot 1/2 fresh cream 1/2 cup chicken broth 1 tbsp Enter Spices Ground Onion 1 tbsp Enter Spices Ground Garlic 1 or 2 Enter Spices Bay Leaves 1/2 tsp Enter Spices Salt 1/4 tsp Enter Spices Black Pepper Powder
DIRECTIONS 1. Melt butter in a saucepan on low heat, add in celery, carrot, and ground onion powder, mix well. 2. Cover pan with lid, then cook vegetables 8 minutes on a low flame. 3. Add in Enter Spices Bay Leaf, Black pepper powder, salt, ground garlic powder, chicken broth and then bring to a boil. 4. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. 5. Add chestnuts and fresh cream and simmer, covered, 3 minutes. 6. Purée soup in small batches (4 or 5) in a blender until smooth. Stir in well on moderate heat, stirring occasionally.
